Cookie Policy

Last Updated: February 16, 2026
Effective Date: February 16, 2026
Version: 2.0

1. Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how LetsLand (operated by RK TECH LTD) uses cookies and similar browser storage on https://letsland.io.

It applies to public pages and the customer portal.
It does not replace legal advice.

2. Consent model used on this site

We use a granular opt-in model:

  • Necessary storage: always active (cannot be switched off)
  • Analytics: off by default until you opt in
  • Functional: off by default until you opt in
  • Marketing: off by default until you opt in

You can choose:

  • Accept all
  • Reject non-essential
  • Customize and save category-level choices

You can change or withdraw optional consent at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.

3. Technologies currently used

3.1 Necessary (always active)

These are required for security and core service operation.

Examples:

  • Session/authentication cookies required for signed-in areas
  • CSRF/session protection data
  • Consent preference storage (ll_cookie_consent_v2)
  • Core app persistence needed to continue in-progress flows (for example saved wizard state)
  • Language and theme preference storage explicitly chosen by the user

Legal basis: legitimate interests and/or contract necessity for requested functionality (UK GDPR / GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) or 6(1)(b), plus applicable ePrivacy/PECR exemptions for strictly necessary storage).

3.2 Analytics (optional, consent required)

When you opt in to Analytics, we load Umami to measure website usage.

We use this for:

  • page and section views
  • basic interaction events (for example CTA clicks)
  • aggregate traffic and performance analysis

If you do not opt in, Umami analytics is not loaded.

Legal basis: consent (UK GDPR / GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

3.3 Functional (optional, consent required)

Category available in consent controls.
Currently not used for additional optional tooling.

3.4 Marketing (optional, consent required)

Category available in consent controls.
Currently not used.

4. Third parties

Current third-party processor relevant to optional analytics:

  • Umami (analytics, only after consent)

Payment and authentication providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies when you actively use those services (for example checkout/sign-in contexts).

5. Evidence logging of consent actions

For compliance evidence, we store consent action records server-side, including:

  • consent action (accept all, reject non-essential, save preferences, withdraw)
  • category choices at the time of action
  • consent policy version
  • locale and source path
  • event timestamp
  • hashed technical identifiers (IP/user-agent hashes)

We do not store raw IP/user-agent values in this consent evidence log.

6. Retention

Consent preference storage remains until changed, cleared by the user, or replaced by a new policy version prompt.

Server-side consent evidence is retained for compliance and audit purposes for an appropriate period under applicable legal obligations and limitation windows.

7. How to change your choice

At any time:

  1. Open Cookie Settings in the footer.
  2. Update category preferences.
  3. Save preferences.

Withdrawal of optional categories takes effect for future processing and triggers runtime disablement of optional analytics.

8. Policy updates

When this policy version changes, we may ask for consent again.
Current version: 2.0.

Cookie preferences

We use strictly necessary storage for core site functions. Analytics, functional, and marketing categories are optional and off by default unless you choose otherwise. Read cookie policy

Necessary storage is always enabled because it is required for security and core functionality.
